The Lady Tigers have a 21-4 record that includes a 6-0 district mark. They are tied with Del Valle High School and played them last Tuesday, March 14. They one-hit Austin’s Akins High School in a 10-0 win, and put the exclamation point on the 9-4 victory over Westlake High School with two home runs in the sixth inning. Lake Travis High School fell 3-10 to the Lady Tigers.

Akins was not able to put up much of a fuss as the Lady Tigers scored in every inning, including seven in the last two of the five-inning game. Getting the ten hits were Kristen Zeman (two), Taylor Anderson (two), Haiden Anderson (two), Jai-Lynn Flores (two), Erika Kanetzky and Elianna Amato. H. Anderson tossed the one-hit game with 4K's.

Westlake was expected to give DSHS a competitive game, and they did for a while. The Lady Tigers had a run in each of the first three innings while the Lady Chaps got two. Dripping Springs blew it open with threerun innings in the fifth and sixth, including home runs by Jordan Cox and H. Anderson. Cox also added four RBIs. H. Anderson took the mound for 4.2IP, 2H,2R, 1ER, 1W, 1K. Flores relieved for 2.1IP, 4H, 2R, 2ER, 1W.

The always-rival Lake Travis made a game of it until the seventh when the Lady Tigers broke loose for six runs. DSHS amassed 14 hits, all singles. Both scored a run in the second. DSHS added two in the fourth and one in the sixth. LT would end the game with two. T. Anderson had the top bat with four hits, and Kate Tressler had three.
