The first day of spring isn’t until March 19, but things are already heating up in central Texas for Dripping Springs High School Lacrosse. Drip Lacrosse dealt Debbie Downers to all three teams they played last week, winning by a combined score of 43-16.
Dripping Springs High School opened its track season at the Hays Hawks Relays. The Tigers finished in second and the Lady Tigers in third among the eight teams competing.
The Dripping Springs High School Tigers finished their basketball season with a flourish by winning their final three games, but unfortunate losses to Bowie and Akins in the middle cost them a playoff berth. The Tigers were 18-15 on the season and 8-8 in district.
Dripping Springs High School Lacrosse went 2-0 against Class B North teams over Valentine’s Day week to bring their 2023– 2024 season record to 3-1. Entering the week, Drip faced visiting Georgetown High School on Tuesday, Feb. 13, before traveling to Cedar Park on Saturday, Feb. 17, to face a competitive Vista Ridge High School squad.
